Vienna Classical Festival 2025

Vienna Classical Festival 2025 invites you to its second edition – from July 25 to August 16, the audience can look forward to a diverse program featuring ten exceptional concert evenings in the atmospheric Minoritenkirche.

The resident orchestra LES ORPHEISTES, under the musical direction of Martin Sieghart, Mario Hossen, and Sophie Dervaux, will present a rich repertoire that bridges the gap between well-known classics and rarely performed rarities.

A special highlight will be the performance of the Rudolf Leopold Cello Quartet, which will enrich the festival as an outstanding guest ensemble.

The program will feature masterpieces of the Viennese Classical and Romantic periods – including compositions by Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms, Strauss, Schubert, and Haydn – complemented by virtuosic works by Paganini, Bottesini, and Koussevitzky, which expand the musical spectrum with artistic finesse.

Internationally acclaimed soloists, who will shape the festival with their exceptional talents, along with the unique historical ambiance of the Minoritenkirche, make the Vienna Classical Festival a summer highlight in the city’s cultural life – a celebration for music lovers and curious explorers alike.
