In the elegant setting of the historic Palais Ferstel, an extraordinary evening awaits you:
The Philharmonic Ensemble celebrates the turn of the year 2025/26 with a festive concert in the spirit of Viennese tradition.

Founded in 2013 as a piano quartet by the Philharmonic violinist Shkëlzen Doli, the ensemble gained international recognition with its appearance in the intermission film of the 2015 New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic, and recorded the accompanying soundtrack on its debut CD with Deutsche Grammophon.

Always flexible in terms of repertoire and instrumentation, the Philharmonic Ensemble has evolved over the years into a chamber music group whose 13-member performances of Viennese waltz programs are particularly beloved by audiences both at home and abroad.

In the traditional Viennese New Year’s program, each of the 13 musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic represents their entire instrument group, and together they create an authentic New Year’s Concert atmosphere.
